Askborg Chargecube Power Bank Review | Travelweekli

I always use my phone all the time and the battery is always low when I most need it when I am out. I have an inside joke with my family as my devices are allowed low on battery and always dead. They call me Danny no battery. Having no battery on my phone has prevented me from some great opportunities such as amazing pictures and helping on holiday navigating.

Technology is ever changing and getting better every year. There are now power cables/power banks and they can hold enough charge to charge your phone more than ones in a day. I have used a few different ones over the past few years and they have been very bad as they don’t fully charge your phone before they die.

I got a great opportunity to get the Askborg ChargeCube 5200mAh Power bank and it cost £9.99 from Amazon. Link to buy it at the bottom. It is black and can work with any type of phone.

The great thing about this product is that it is compact just 3.9 x 2 x1 inches. This means it can fit in your pocket unlike some I have seen. It comes with a built-in flashlight that is very powerful. It will be very useful for travelers stuck in a sticky situation at night.

The 5,200mAh ChargeCube, as the name implies. Has a 5,200mAh battery inside, one full-sized USB port to charge your smartphone. A MicroUSB port to charge the battery. The charter says it can charge your phone two times in one day. I have tested it and it does what it says,

The changer had a blue light on it that shows how much charge it has available in the power bank. I connect it up with my Sony Xperia z3 and it only took 1:30 hours to charge it. The charger bank does not come with any cables. The cable you buy will help get the power more quickly from the power bank to the phone. It took about 3 hours to change the power bank to full charge again.

There is a special offer that will give you a 15 % discount when you buy through Amazon. Simply use the code “ASKB15PO” at the checkout.

  7. […] The one thing you don’t want to happen is watching a film on your table or listing to music and halfway through the device cuts off, as there are no batteries. I have had this problem that is why my family call me Dannie no battery. I now always charge my devices up before I go on any long trip, but my phone battery is rubbish and goes very quickly. That is why you should invest in a very good external power pack. The one that you should get is Askborge ChargeCube that only cost £10 and find out why. […]
