When we got Hua Hin there it only rains about few hours a day for a few days only, so you can still go out. One of the day trips to do is go to Monkey Mountain or Khao Takiap. It is a place full of monkeys. Also, we went to Wat Huay Mongol that has a huge Buddha statue dominating the skyline.
In addition to this, we went to Koh Talu Island for some Snorkelling. The Island is private with a small hotel and we went for the day. The water was so clear the sand was amazing and smooth. The hotel had a tortoise sanctuary.
Lastly, we went to Pala-U-Waterfall that was stunning. The park is one of the largest in Thailand and sits right next to the Burmese (Myanmar) border. The waterfall has 16 steps, making it one of the highest in Thailand but it would take two days to get to the top. On the way back in the minibus we saw an Asian elephant on the road that was spectacular,
The street food is so cheap in Thailand that you can spend about £2 and under for each meal. The food street markets are amazing at night as there is the wide range of food to pick from. I love green Thai curry so I had a lot of it but you got to watch out that they make Thai food very spicy even when you ask for it to be not spicy.
